Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 36 Provides Amazing Support at their 18th Annual Golf Tournament!
St. Vincent Home for Children is extremely grateful for the continued support of Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 36! The 18th annual tournament, held on Monday, May 4th at Glen Echo Country Club, was attended by 22 teams. Proceeds from this annual Tournament allowed SMART Local 36 to present St. Vincent Home for Children with $20,000. The funds raised will to help fund our programs for 2015. At St. Vincent, we serve troubled children and their families. We serve youth with love, honesty, and integrity. We strive to embrace and empower them so that their return to the larger world is successful and prepares them well for the days ahead. We work as a team to hold even the most challenging of teens close to our hearts, to push them, pull them, encourage or cajole them – whatever it takes to help them move to that next right place.
SMART Local 36 encompasses the greater St. Louis metropolitan area, Eastern Missouri, and Columbia, Jefferson City and Springfield, Missouri. SMART Local 36 is an affiliate of the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association with membership in the AFL-CIO and the Canadian Labor Council.
