About this Event
Well, that’s exactly what you’ll get to do at Kookin’ for Kids! This popular annual event benefits St. Vincent Home for Children and offers guests the opportunity to sample scrumptious dishes and drinks from some of the area’s best eateries while meeting plenty of St. Louis celebrities!
Despite life’s challenging and complex circumstances, the teens at St. Vincent are resilient and persevering! We are happy to report that in 2018 we served 606 youth. We know the need is great and there are more children in need of a safe haven. That is why we are here…and why we are so grateful to have you as a partner in that mission. Together we are serving the youth that might fall through the cracks without our help. We believe we can help change that, one child at a time, by supporting Kookin’ for Kids.

Kookin’ For Kids is BACK… and with a Taste of Komedy!
St. Vincent Home for Children’s 31st annual Kookin’ for Kids is back, and we are excited to bring back another year of Komedy. This year’s event will offer our guests the opportunity to sample mouthwatering dishes from some of the area’s finest eateries, bid on fantastic Live Auction items, and enjoy a night of comedy! The fun all takes place on Sunday, August 7, from 4:30-7:00 pm (food 4:30-6:00 pm) at the Four Seasons downtown.
Our goal is to raise $250,000 to aid the programs and services at St. Vincent’s. For over 170 years, St. Vincent has been helping children/youth and their families from across St. Louis County who are living with mental, behavioral, or emotional health challenges caused by a traumatic occurrence in their life (homelessness, abuse, neglect, witnessing a violent crime or a loss of a parent or loved one). Your sponsorship is vital to the overall success of the event, and we believe deeply that these partnerships are helping to transform the lives of hundreds of youth in crisis.
We hope you will join us as we once again get “Kookin’ for Kids”. With your help, together we can make a life-changing impact on the youth we serve, giving them the tools and care they need to thrive.
