Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2015
It’s not your ordinary service project! Get hands-on and then get your barbecue on. Join Connect With St. Louis and several nonprofit organizations doing great work in the St. Louis community for a choose-your-own-adventure service project. This event is aimed at young professionals ages 21-35.
St. Vincent Home for Children is one of 6 sites where you can choose to volunteer. Join us for a fun filled day!
PHASE 1: PICK YOUR PURPOSE (select a service project) – 9 a.m.- noon
St. Vincent Home for Children: Spend the morning helping out with a field day for youth. You will be coaching as well as leading outdoor activities and sports. St. Vincent Home for Children serves troubled children and their families, predominantly at-risk youth between the ages of 12-19 in North St. Louis County.
PHASE 2: FIND YOUR FUN (BBQ and washers tournament) – noon – 1:30 p.m.
Join us for at Tower Grove Park for Pappy’s BBQ, a washers tournament and a chance to make friends and network with your fellow volunteers immediately following your service project. Meet us at the Old Carriage Pavilion starting at noon.
