Give HOPE this holiday season to St. Vincent’s Kids!

It’s that time of year again!! With Thanksgiving just a few short weeks away and Christmas around the corner, we are busily preparing many activities and events to make the holidays special here for St. Vincent’s kids. We work hard to keep the spirit of the holiday season present by providing opportunities to support our kids in a a variety of ways. With your help, we can make the holiday’s BRIGHT for each of the 35 kids who will be with us for the holidays. 

For Thanksgiving, St. Vincent’s will provide a traditional turkey feast for all of our residents and staff. We’ll organize a few games before the meal, to help our kids celebrate, kick back, and have fun. At noon, volunteers will serve turkey, potatoes, dressing, and all the sides. We are accepting donations of homemade baked goods and pies as well as drinks like soda, lemonade, and tea. We would love some festive napkins and disposable paper goods to make the day festive. After lunch, our kids will have the opportunity to watch movies and relax.

St. Vincent also collects donations for Christmas gifts for all of our 35 kids starting December 1st. Check out our Holiday Wish List here. We have a variety of options and levels for gifts, in addition to need volunteers to help sort and wrap donations. Click here for more information on volunteer opportunities. If you’re interested in assisting us on Christmas Eve, we will again need volunteers for holiday games at 10 am. We will serve a large banquet at 12 pm on Christmas Eve and distribute stockings to all of the kids on Christmas Eve. As we do for Thanksgiving, we love having homemade desserts and treats for all of our kids. In addition, we’ll need drinks and festive paper goods to ensure that their meal is special!
